Business Development Executive
Location: Remote/Hybrid (1 day per month in our Bedford HQ as a minimum)

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum (OTE £66,000 - £70,000)

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing high-value sales opportunities. You will be responsible for converting leads into long-term customers, developing tailored solutions, and consistently exceeding sales targets. The role combines strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and exceptional closing abilities to significantly contribute to the company’s success and revenue goals.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a B2B Consultancy sales role using a consultative selling approach.
- A highly driven, results-oriented closer who thrives in a competitive environment.
- Driven by ambition and own results with a commercial spirit and growth mindset.
- Previous experience in self-generating sales from scratch.
- Resilient, confident, and tenacious with an engaging personality.
- The confidence and professionalism to liaise with business owners/decision-makers.
- Driven, organised, focussed, tenacious and persistent person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery calls to identify customer needs.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations.
- Lead the charge in closing high-value contracts with decision-makers, negotiating to win the business and ensuring smooth handover for long-term success.
- Proactively develop leads for yourself to meet sales and growth targets within the business plan through prospecting in our customer base and using leads within the CRM.
- Maintain a robust and healthy pipeline, always ensuring 3x coverage and proactively nurturing leads to maximise closing opportunities.
- Leverage advanced CRM tools and sales enablement platforms to maximise efficiency and close rates.
