We are seeking a Brake Press Operative to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our production process, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and form metal components.
Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake machines to precise specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
- Perform quality checks on finished components
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Experience operating press brake machines
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am - 4.30pm and Fri 8am - 1pm
