Shirley Parsons is partnered with a leading construction and civil engineering specialist seeking a Health and Safety Manager to cover their region between Milton Keynes, Cambridge and Northampton. This role would suit candidates that are looking for a multi-site role with autonomy to plan their own diary and make site visits. Due to the nature of this role, there will be frequent interaction with both Client and Principal Contractors, therefore it is essential that the successful candidate is comfortable dealing with deadlines and setbacks. This role would suit candidates coming from a construction or civil engineering background with experience working on large projects.Â
The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering health and safety training
- Supporting the Head of Health and Safety across various health and safety initiatives and programmes
- Supporting Project Managers across a range of projects
- Reviewing and analysing data to produce reports and action plans
The Health and Safety Manager will have:
- NEBOSH General or Construction (Essential)
- Experience in undertaking internal audits
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regs 2015
