Description
Credit Controller
- Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments
- Conduct credit checks and assess creditworthiness of new customers
- Maintain communication with customers to resolve payment issues
- Prepare monthly reports of outstanding customer accounts
- Work with the sales team to establish credit limits for new customers
- Adhere to and enforce company credit policies
- Identify and recommend potential write-offs
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the credit control process
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Strong understanding & proven experience in credit control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
