Covering all the major manufacturing sectors, working directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialised contractors or major engineering firms. With that in mind, this is a fantastic opportunity for an administrator - document controller to join the company supporting a major project in Bedford, MK42 9QJ.
Duties
As an experienced administrator - document controller you will be working within the company's site offices in Bedford, MK42 9QJ. With responsibility to ensure all administrative tasks are completed in line with the companies operating procedures. Particular duties will include organising and filing the day-to-day work records generated on a busy construction site. Specifically, the signing in sheets, toolbox talks, hot works permits, delivery notices, weekly time sheets, safety qualifications and plant certificates. Ongoing duties will include compiling the new procedures manual and ensuring all documentation meets the requirements of the site audit. You will also be required to scan all necessary documents onto the system to form a comprehensive hand over pack along with liaising with the project team to locate any missing information. There will be other general office and telephone duties as instructed by the project manager.
About You
Based in Bedford you will need to live within a short commutable distance of MK42 9QJ.
Experience of data entry, telephone work, document control and general office administration with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software packages is essential for this role.
Driving license and own transport would be advantageous.
