Dunbar Education is a leading provider of educational staffing solutions, dedicated to enhancing the quality of early years education. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Nurse to join a dynamic team at a nursery in Bedford.

Role Overview:

As an Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education to young children. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the development of each child and prepares them for their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Support childrenā€™s learning and development through play, interactions, and structured activities.
  • Observe and assess childrenā€™s progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment that promotes childrenā€™s emotional, social, and physical well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each childā€™s individual needs.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the nursery environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator/Nursery Nurse).
  • Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early years development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Experience with specific early years programs or interventions.
  • Additional training or certifications relevant to early years education.
