SEN Teaching Assistant - SEND School - Bedford - ASAP Start

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is looking for a new exciting role at a SEN school in Bedford? Are you available immediately for a full-time position?

Tradewind are currently working closely with a SEN school in Bedford who are looking to recruit a number of experienced and reliable SEN TA's to join them on a long-term basis. These roles will be until the end of the academic year at least and for the strongest candidates, this could lead to permanent employment with the school.

This SEN school in Bedford cater for children with severe and complex learning difficulties and health, and care needs. You will work as part of a large staff team to create a safe and inclusive learning enviroment where the individual needs of each student are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with children with complex SEND needs
  • Observe and report on the childrens progress
  • Work closely with the SENDCO and outside agencies
  • Build strong relationships with parents
  • Personal care may be required in some instances

About you

  • Passionate about working with children with SEN
  • Previous experience, either personally or professionally, with children with complex SEND
  • Able to commute to or local to Bedford
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Available full-time - 8:30-3:30 minimum
