Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Type: Full time

Salary: £90-£100 P/D PAYE

Location: Bedford

Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf a brilliant, modern Primary School in Kempston, Bedford. Our partner school is looking for a full-time SEN TA to join them in September 2025. This is a full-time position and your working hours will be 8:10-3:30 each day.

Whilst this is a mainstream school, you will be responsible for working with several children with a high level of SEN need including ASD, ADHD and SEMH. Previous experience in a similar position is therefore essential for this role.

Your responsibilities will include providing close support for a number of students throughout the day. You will be facilitating learning and progress wherever possible. On occasion, the children you are working with may become deregulated and you will need to be confident in de-escalation techniques and physical intervention when needed.

For the right person, this role may lead to full-time employment within the school.
