We’re looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer who can design, develop, and bring control systems to life—both on CAD and in code.

What You'll Be Doing:Designing and developing electrical control systems for automated machinery
Writing, testing, and modifying PLC code (Siemens, Rockwell, or similar)
Producing detailed schematic drawings, bills of materials, and supporting documentation
Collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, production, service, and sales
Supporting testing, commissioning, and product development activities
Ensuring compliance with relevant safety and electrical standards
Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems
Experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
Confident programming and fault-finding on PLCs
Good communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of EN60204, EN13849, and EMC compliance
Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics
Experience working with bespoke machinery or in a manufacturing environment
Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
