Sonic Summary

Our client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their Engineering Department, reporting to the Electrical Engineering and Automation Team Leader.
The role involves the conceptual and detailed design of special purpose machinery, including sophisticated control systems and the creation of schematic drawings and bills of materials.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design engineering and the right to work in the UK without sponsorship for the next five years.
The position requires collaboration with suppliers and other departments, as well as leading or supporting projects to meet tight deadlines and budgets.

Our client is looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer to join their Engineering Department, reporting to theElectrical Engineering and Automation Team Leader.* Conceptual and detailed design and development of special purpose machinery.o Design of sophisticated control systems including variable speed drives, PLC and field bussystemso Transform a written specification into a complete design including a set of schematicdrawings and a complete bill of materials within the company ERP systemo Design for manufacture and assemblyo Liaising with suppliers on bought out components and with other departmentso Development of test plans and procedures* Lead or support contractual and development projects to aggressive timescales and budgets* Support of associated department's needs (sales, service, production)
