Working with one of the UK's leading automotive manufacturer, this is an exciting opportunity for a Infotainment and HMI Test Engineer to work on a variety of prototype vehicles including Electric/Hybrid and Autonomous Vehicle projects.Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1.20pmHybrid working typically 3 days/week on site in CranfieldPay Rate: £30.02/hour PAYE plus holiday & pension accrual, 1,5x paid overtime You will be supporting the Electrical & Electronic Test team with:
  • Managing electrical function, performance, and reliability tests for Body Electronics systems and CAN architecture/network testing.
  • Leading root cause investigations and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborating with design teams to ensure high-quality component testing.
  • Creating detailed test plans, procedures, and organizing vehicle transportation as needed.
  • Coordinating vehicle tests and reporting results to management.
  • Offering technical support to production plants and test houses.
  • Managing suppliers and field investigations when required.
Key Qualifications:
  • Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge of Nissan, Renault, and Mitsubishi electrical architecture.
  • Experience with vehicle ECU software (flashing, coding/configuration, calibration).
  • Proficient in CANalyzer, CANape, and interpreting results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with electrical test equipment.

  • Office IT equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • PPE for workshop and production line activities.
