We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our client's Mobile team based in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure on several high end commercial sites, join a growing building service provider and be provided opportunities to progress internally.In this role, you will be covering several commercial properties, carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, liaise with subcontractors, respond to call outs and ensure the client is satisfied with the service providedTo be successful in this Mobile Maintenance Engineer Role, you must possess qualifications in either Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent), have at least 3 years in commercial maintenance, a full UK driving license and have a client facing attitude. Mobile Maintenance Engineer Duties:

  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and testing of various electrical and mechanical systems, including Checking tap temperature, water flushing, AHUs, air conditioning systems, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and generators.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and daily inspections of plant areas, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and organisation at all times.
  • Implement and follow PPM schedules in alignment with departmental objectives.
  • Execute water management control measures as outlined in the Water Risk Assessment, such as flushing and temperature monitoring, while maintaining precise documentation.
  • Address and resolve tasks logged in the company's system, prioritising workload and responding swiftly to emergency and reactive maintenance requests.
  • Deal with building managers/clients on a daily basis.
  • Support and assist in various projects as needed.

Mobile Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in either Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
  • A full UK driving license
  • At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance
  • Client facing attitude

Salary and Package:

  • £40,000 - £42,000 per annum
