Position: Control Panel Installer
Salary: 15 - 20
Location: Bedford
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Control Panel Installer to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Bedford.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Control Panel Installer to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the Site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
You will be responsible for:
- Install controls on systems on site & occasionally at Client's locations (Uk).
- Assemble and wire mechanical switchgears
- Carry out repairs on electrical switchgears and panels
- Looming wiring control panels
- Work from wiring schematics to assemble products
- Wiring, Soldering, Crimping, Terminating and Looming cables
Experience:
- Have experience installing control panels to systems.
- Have experience in creating quality in-build hand looming
- Be able to carry out mechanical assemblies
- Be skilled in in-build hand looming and in producing neat and accurate wiring
- Be able to read and work from schematics and drawings
- Have experience of working with Wiring, Soldering, Crimping, Terminating and Looming cables
- Experience within the aviation / defense sectors (beneficial)
