Job Title: Events Installation/Driver
Location: Bedford
Remuneration: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum
Contract Details: Permanent, 40 hours per week
Our client, is seeking an Events Installation/Driver to ensure flawless set up of installations and events for their exciting campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Pick up, load, and drive event assets to and from events as per the schedule across the country.
Set up and dismantle exhibition and event assets in line with briefs and health and safety regulations.
Provide timely updates to key stakeholders including Campaign Managers and the Field Support team.
Troubleshoot problems, find effective solutions, and ensure maximum effectiveness of exhibition stands and brand message.
Mentor junior team members and assist with other deliveries and collections as required.
Assist in the warehouse with packing and shipping event items.
Experience/duties required:
Proven experience in on-site events, promotions, and experiential activations.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Heavy lifting required of objects from time to time .
Proficient in using hand-held and electrical tools.
Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and unsociable hours.
Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills.
Possession of a full clean driving licence
Mid/long-distance driving experience.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of joinery, plumbing, and/or electrical work.
Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (reach or counterbalance).
Basic understanding of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMs).
