Hygiene Operative
Location: Bedford
Salary: £25,396.80 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm (40 hours a week)

Our client, a leading production company in Bedford, is seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient workplace while advancing your career in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning tasks safely, following schedules and procedures.
- Handle chemicals safely and use equipment as directed.
- Report safety, hygiene, and maintenance concerns promptly.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and wear appropriate PPE.
- Respect others’ work areas and ensure equipment is returned properly.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a hygiene role, ideally in the food industry.
- Level 2 Food Safety / HACCP certification and COSHH training.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Organised and knowledgeable in safe chemical handling.
