Finance Manager Role - Key Responsibilities
Financial Management and Reporting
* Take charge of monthly management accounts and board reports.* Present financial insights at monthly Board meetings.* Continuously review and refine forecast reports to support business growth.* Collaborate with department teams to ensure accurate financial forecasting.* Manage monthly accruals, prepayments, and key accounting entries.* Lead the development of KPI reporting for business success.
Compliance and Regulatory
* Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT returns.* Keep the company compliant with all tax and regulatory requirements.* Oversee year-end accounts, liaising with external accountants for smooth auditing processes.
Budgeting & Strategic Planning
* Own the payroll process and manage payroll payments.* Set annual budgets and monitor them for alignment with financial goals.* Drive financial strategy to support company expansion.* Provide insightful financial analysis to mitigate risks and optimise growth opportunities.
Risk Management
* Proactively identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.* Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.* Innovate and implement improvements in financial processes.
