This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2.5 tonne counterbalance forklift driver, to join the company supporting a major project in Bedford, MK40 4LU.
Duties
As an experienced and suitably qualified counterbalance forklift driver you will be working within a food production facility in Peterborough on a project to remove and re install process pipework and equipment. The primary duties will be to safely unload and distribute as necessary, all new process equipment delivered to site. Specific items to be moved will include high value pumps, motors, valve sets and one-off pieces of specialist equipment. Other duties will include lifting pipework runs into position, assisting fitters with basic installation works typically tightening bolts and painting pipework along with general labouring work. Full training will be given for the non-driving aspects of the job.
About You
Based ideally in Bedford you will need to live within a commutable distance of MK40 4LU.
Demonstrable experience of operating a counterbalance forklift to safely distribute materials around site.
RTITB 2500Kg Counterbalance forklift licence or equivalent is required for this role.
