Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance License & Driving License
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role within a metalworking environment, requiring experience in heavy lifting and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling and organizing metal products within the warehouse.
- Safely operating a counterbalance forklift (approximately 20% of the time).
- Loading and unloading goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Preparing and fulfilling customer orders, including building custom boxes for specific orders.
- Occasionally delivering products to customers, requiring a valid UK driving license.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Valid full counterbalance forklift license.
- Clean, full UK driving license.
- Physically fit, as the role can be labour-intensive and involve heavy lifting.
- Some carpentry skills are desirable for building customer boxes as required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or metalworking environment (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
- Monday Thursday: 8:30 am 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am 4:30 pm
- Includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break each day.
