We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Reach Forklift Drivers to join this dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking and handling large, bulky products using a reach truck. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring the safe operation of equipment, and optimising warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach forklift to safely load, unload, and move large and bulky products within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications and ensure timely delivery to designated areas.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols and warehouse policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals and improve efficiency.
Ideal Candidate:
- Valid Reach Forklift Operator Certification.
- Previous experience operating a reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
