Title: Graduate Acoustic Consultant
Location: Bedford
Salary: £25/30k
We are looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join one of the UK's largest independent acoustic consultancies. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a specialist team of acoustic, noise, and vibration consultants with a proven track record of career development and progression. You will have the chance to work on a variety of exclusive and bespoke projects, ranging from residential and commercial developments to entertainment and large infrastructure initiatives.
The Graduate Acoustic Position will involve conducting noise assessments, sound insulation testing, and 3D noise modelling. After these assessments, you will prepare final reports. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and construction managers to ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders.

To be suitable for the Graduate Acoustic Position, candidates should have a BSc or MSc in Acoustics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. A strong understanding of British standards BS4142, BS5228, BS8233, and BS16283 is required, along with proficiency in acoustical software such as ODEON, INSUL, SoundPLAN, and CadnaA. A valid driver's licence and proximity to the Bedford office are also required.
