Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Telesales Executive to join our team in Bedford, who's as passionate about great service as we are.

This role will find you working within our branch sales office, specialising in Timber & Heavy-side building materials sales.

Hours: 7.30am-5.00pm Mon-Fri, every 2nd Sat 8am-12pm

Location: Barkers Ln, Bedford MK41 9RT

Key Responsibilities

  • Calling customers with lapsed accounts to regain business

  • Cold calling prospect customers, introduce our services, generate new leads for the sales team to develop new sales opportunities

  • Updating and entering records into the company's CRM systems

  • Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values

  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey

  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

  • Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous industry experience is beneficial

  • Experience in telesales, customer services or sales roles & environments

  • Passion for working with people with great communication skills

  • Flexible with a positive can-do attitude
