Academics is partnering with an exceptional SEMH school in Bedford to find a dedicated Nurture Teacher to lead their KS2/3 Nurture provision. This exciting opportunity involves creating and delivering a personalized curriculum for students who are not yet ready to engage with the secondary curriculum. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with challenges such as anxiety, emotionally-based school avoidance, ADHD, and/or ASD.

While Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, we are open to considering candidates without QTS who can demonstrate substantial experience and a positive impact in a school or nursery setting.

This independent SEMH school in Bedford provides tailored education for up to 50 children aged 8-18, with a special focus on students who have faced extended disengagement from education. Through its Turning the Curve provision, the school offers vital support to those who have struggled in mainstream environments.
