What You’ll Be Doing:

This role oversees a team of 4 Social workers and 1.5 Restorative practitioners. The primary role will be to quality assure the court work, ensure that the right care plan is achieved for individual children, have a curious mind, child focused practice and relational in their approach. the role will entail tracking timescale- high support and high challenge approach and an ability to work within Court timescales Smooth transitions with the Family Help and Children in care and beyond teams will be essential. The role will oversee the child's journey towards achieving permanence. It will overseen by the Service manager in the Corporate parenting service. the role will entail being office based at least 2 days/week to offer support to colleagues.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a current and valid Social Work England registration and pin
  • experience working with ECHP or similar settings
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care 
  • access to a car for community/home visits

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday - Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 to 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
