Become a Telematics Unit Project Design Engineer - £29/hr PAYE rate

What You Will Do:

  • Implement on-board telematics systems for European-manufactured vehicles, ensuring global market compatibility.
  • Generate and release TCU configuration data for European vehicles.
  • Manage Tier 1 suppliers to meet Quality, Cost, and Timing targets.
  • Coordinate in-house and supplier TCU validation to company design standards ahead of new software releases.
  • Collaborate with both on-board and off-board Connected Car test teams to confirm system performance.
  • Project manage cross-carline projects, ensuring development scope, schedule, and test plans are defined and maintained.

What You Will Bring:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Telematics hardware, systems, and knowledge of vehicle connectivity.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools, including Excel at an intermediate/advanced level.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong mathematical understanding.
  • Fluent written and verbal English language capability.
