Attega are looking for someone to join a National Pump Service & Maintenance company who are on the hunt for an Pump Assistant Engineer.

This role will involve assisting the Pump Engineer, learning about the trade, resolving mechanical problems, and you will also be involved in the product lifecycle.

Duties for this role will include:

  • Assisting the Pump Engineer ensuring all equipment is clean at all times.
  • Shadowing the Pump Engineer to eventually become a lead Pump Engineer.
  • Mend or make safe faulty or incorrectly performing pump and related equipment
  • Investigate and diagnose faults
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide customised solutions
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all field operations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
  • Work as part of a team to complete assigned projects efficiently and within deadlines
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used
  • Stay updated on the latest pump technologies and industry trends to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Confidently drive from site to site, working as part of a team.
  • Assist the Pump Engineer in record keeping, including the work schedule and parts used etc.
  • Adhere to all health and safety practices at all times.
  • Support with installations, maintenance and repair of various types of pumps.

In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £28,000 P/A and various company benefits including training and professional development in hopes to become a lead Pump Engineer with the successful growth of the business.

It is essential for the Pump Assistant Engineer to have a full clean license and a willingness to learn and absorb as much as possible alongside the Pump Engineer.
