The role We are looking for a motivated Safety, Health & Environment Coordinator to help develop and maintain effective safety practices, promoting a positive safety culture across the site. This role involves creating Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), reducing accidents, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • Promote a strong health and safety culture through staff engagement and training.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and SSOW in collaboration with the Health & Safety Manager.
  • Manage and maintain the site's health and safety management system.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Lead weekly safety meetings and report on key safety performance indicators.
  • Conduct regular site audits and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

About you

  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Experience in health and safety management, including risk assessments and incident investigation
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
