A college in Bedfordshire is seeking a Maths Lecturer to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. The role involves teaching a mixture of GCSE and A Level Maths, in addition to tutoring responsibilities.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at GCSE and A Level.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum requirements.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Act as a tutor, providing additional support and guidance to students as needed.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching methods and student learning experiences.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
- Level 3 qualification or higher in a Maths-related subject.
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Proven experience in teaching GCSE and A Level Maths.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
