An exciting opportunity for an Interim HR Change Manager. Our public sector client is seeking an experienced Interim HR Change Manager to lead the implementation of the People Services review. This role focusses on high-impact, cost-effective change to ensure alignment with future needs and financial constraints.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Implementation:Drive the People Services review, focusing on impactful and cost-effective solutions.
  • Project Planning:Develop and deliver a clear, actionable project plan with defined milestones and deliverables based on the review's recommendations.
  • Process Improvement:Streamline recruitment and employee relations processes, reducing manual interventions and improving response times.
  • Streamline policies, procedures, and systems to reduce bureaucratic processes and improve service delivery.
  • Digitisation:Launch the digitisation of key manual processes, reducing paper-based forms and automating workflows.
  • System Utilisation:Ensure full utilisation of the iTrent HR system, including setting up self-service functionalities for line managers to reduce the burden on HR staff.
  • Use a Stop-Start-Continue framework to identify and reduce low-value activities, focusing on high-impact practices.
  • Conduct an efficiency review to eliminate non-value-adding tasks, allowing employees to focus on priority activities.
  • Develop and execute a communication plan with engagement sessions for key stakeholders, ensuring support for transformation initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in an HR change management role within the public sector.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • You will ideally be MCIPD Qualified or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems, iTrent would be advantageous.
