We have a new opportunity for an experienced HR Manager based in Bedford for one of our clients on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client is a leading production and manufacturing company in the UK. They will also consider part-time applications.
Responsibilities of the HR Manager
- Oversee core HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding.
- Assist with performance management and staff development plans.
- Manage and mentor the HR Officer.
- Implement HR policies.
Requirements for a successful HR Manager
- CIPD level 5/7 qualified.
- Substantial HR Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring HR staff.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation skills.
Summary of the HR Manager role
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
