In this role, you'll have the autonomy to manage and run the company's payroll, liaising with finance and managed service providers to ensure timely payments. You'll handle everything from tracking payroll changes-such as tax codes and salaries-to managing benefits like healthcare and company cars. You'll also onboard new colleagues and ensure payroll records are kept up-to-date while safeguarding confidential data.

What this role includes:

  • Liaising with the managed services payroll provider to maintain a productive relationship.
  • Coordinating with the finance team to ensure timely monthly payments to colleagues.
  • Tracking and updating changes to payroll, such as colleague details, salaries, working hours, tax codes, and probation status.
  • Overseeing the payroll onboarding process for new colleagues.
  • Administering colleague benefits, including healthcare and company cars.
  • Keeping accurate records of payroll documents and addressing payroll queries.
  • Maintaining confidentiality controls for GDPR-protected data.
