This role is integral in designing solutions that address organisational challenges while ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Define problems and desired outcomes clearly, ensuring solutions meet the organisation's requirements.
  • Stay informed about technology trends and organisational objectives, including external drivers such as legislation or financial constraints.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop business and technical strategies within constraints.
  • Design and document solutions for implementation, adhering to standards and governance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage risks and decisions transparently.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across different business or technical areas.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the organisation and support multiple architecture projects.
  • Utilise emerging technologies and approaches, guiding others to follow best practices in solution architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to communicate between technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in governance and assurance, understanding necessary governance and risk management.
  • Proficient in making and guiding decisions with managed levels of risk and complexity.
  • Ability to resolve technical disputes and apply strategy effectively, turning business problems into technical design.
  • Design systems with manageable risk, business and technical complexity, and meaningful impact.
  • Familiarity with trends and practices outside the team, understanding broader strategies and historical contexts.
  • Technical expertise in .NET, Visual Studio, JavaScript, C#, and ideally experience with Genesys APIs or similar.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps deployments, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform tools, and web-based integrations.
