Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mechanical fitting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fit mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components as per Bills of Material, Drawings and Specifications of Company Products.
- Understanding and interpretation of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic engineering drawings for Atlas & Titan products to specification and drawing.
- To operate safely, the use of various hand tools and power tools as required and directed
- Control, through best practices, the quality of machines on build.
- Immediate communication of issues, delays and shortages to Production Supervisors.
- Contribute to ways that the department's quality and efficiency can be improved and take part in improvement projects.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment in accordance with 5S principles.
- Be fully conversant and compliant with Company policies, procedures and specifications (including Technical, HR, Quality and Health & Safety policies) in order to maintain a safe and controlled environment.
- To report any non-conformance through the defined procedure and assist the company in meeting its Quality and HS&E objectives.
Requirements :
- Work experience or Apprenticeship within relatable industry.
- Good level of computer literacy with MS applications, Adobe Acrobat and CAD viewers.
- Ability to improve quality & efficiency of work processes and drive implementation.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Diligent, structured and organised approach to work - with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Takes pride in own work, is thorough with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong command of English language (both written and verbal).
Hours :
7:30am - 4pm Monday to Thursday
7:30am to 1pm Friday
