Commercial Insurance Handler Salary £30,000 - £35,000 Bedford 

Our Client is a successful Insurance Broker dealing with predominantly commercial insurance.  They are looking for an Insurance Handler to deal with Commercial policies based in their Bedford office. 

Job Specification

  • To process and administer Commercial Insurance policies.
  • Work closely with all departments within the organisation.
  • Be the point of contact for customers with queries.
  • Process new business, renewals and mid- term alterations and relevant paperwork.
  • Liaise with clients and insurers on a day to day basis in order to fulfil clients requirements and general queries.
  • Monitor and chase outstanding documentation and paperwork.

Personal Specification

  • The Commercial Insurance Handler will have experience from a Broking or Underwriting background.
  • Be able to develop and maintain good relationships with both clients and colleagues
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written, numerically and verbally with clients, work contacts and colleagues.
  • Enjoys working in a team and possesses excellent organisation skills.
