We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative/Administrator based in Kempston for one of our clients on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis.
Summary of the Stores Operative/Administrator role
Salary: Competitive Location: Kempston Type of Contract: 6-month fixed term contract Hours: 37-hour working week
Responsibilities of theStores Operative/Administrator
- Goods in - allocating direct to projects.
- Cycle counts.
- Book on to the system and process units received.
- Issue and monitor stock parts.
- Pick stock items.
- Maintain accurate records on the ERP system.
Requirements for a successful Stores Operative/Administrator
- Previous Stores Operational experience.
- Engineering or manufacturing qualifications or experience.
- A good understanding of Engineering products and drawings.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail.
- Forklift licence would be advantageous.
