An excellent opportunity has become available for an Associate Town Planner to join an established planning and property consultancy as part of their Bedfordshire based team. The team currently offer a wide variety of property and planning services to their clients who include land owners, retailers and housebuilders.

For this role it is anticipated that the successful Town Planner will:

  • Have a BSc / MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline
  • Be MRTPI qualified
  • Extensive combined public and private sector planning experience
  • Hold a full UK driver's licence

Duties:

  • Undertaking planning reviews, appraisals, applications and appeals on behalf of clients
  • Managing graduate members of the team
  • Liaising with clients and local authorities
  • Preparing reports and statements
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for new business from both existing and new clients
  • Managing and forecasting fee income
