About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Landscape Architect to join a dynamic consultancy that specialises in the design, planning, and development of meaningful landscapes. With a growing portfolio of public and private sector projects, we are looking for a creative and skilled professional to contribute to a variety of developments, including memorial gardens, parks, open spaces, natural burial grounds, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle—from initial concept through to completion—providing an invaluable opportunity to refine your expertise in landscape architecture and development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing innovative soft and hard landscape designs from concept to detailed planning, tendering, and construction.
- Preparing reports to support planning applications, including Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA), Strategic Planning documents, and Design & Access Statements.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to deliver high-quality projects that meet client objectives.
- Producing technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
- Managing multiple projects effectively, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Staying up to date with National Planning Policy and industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- A motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Architect with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience (preferably post-Chartership).
- Strong proficiency in design software, including Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Keyscape, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
- Expertise in contract preparation, project specifications, and cost estimating.
- Excellent time management, organisational, and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence is essential, as site visits across the country will be required.
