About the Enforcement and Regulatory Lawyer Role:

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an Enfrcement and Regulatory lawyer to join a local authority based in East Anglia. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.

Key Responsibilities of the Enforcement and Regulatory Lawyer role:

The successful Enforcement and Regulatory Solicitor or Barrister will be able to 'hit the ground running' and manage their own caseload of prosecution matters, which will may include matters such as:

  • Environmental/Waste Prosecution, (Advises, Hearings and Appeals)
  • Licensing, All Premises Liquor Licence Prosecutions, (Advises, Hearings and Appeals)
  • Food Hygiene Prosecutions, (Advises, Hearings and Appeals)

You will need to be able to undertake advocacy in person once per week in East Anglia.

While previous experience working within local government is desirable, qualified solicitors from a private practice background will be considered.
