Our Client are a local, forward-thinking and rapidly growing family law firm who are seeking a Family Law Mediator based in Bedford on a full-time permanent basis. Responsibilities of the Family Law Mediator

  • Work with couples/families to resolve financial and childcare related disputes taking an amicable agreement approach.
  • Assess couples’ suitability for joint representation.
  • Obtain and collate relevant financial and other evidence and client reports.
  • Provide legal advice and facilitate discussions for clients.
  • Obtain expert reports.

Requirements for a successful Family Law Mediator

  • Previous proven private family law and collaborative law experience.
  • Excellent commercial awareness with a thorough understanding of the legal market.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise.
  • Able to take a structured approach and framework.
  • Commercially minded and forward thinker.
