?? The Role:??? Job Title - Library Assistant ?? Location - Bedfordshire? Hours - Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM (Term-Time Only)?? Contract Length - Temporary?? Pay Rate - £12 - £14 per hour (depending on experience)
?? What You'll Be Doing:?? Providing excellent customer service at the library desk.?? Assisting students in finding resources and supporting their study skills.?? Maintaining the administration of the library.?? Keeping the library area clean, tidy, and safe.?? Assisting with Study Skills sessions and one-to-one support.?? Promoting and maintaining resources and equipment.?? Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of students in the library.? What We're Looking For:?? A passion for education and student development.?? Strong customer service and communication skills.?? Confidence in using Microsoft Office and digital library systems.?? An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).?? The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy learning environment.
