We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our client, a large horticultural company at their site in Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a significant impact on the efficiency and quality of inventory management.About the Role:As the Inventory Manager, you will oversee all aspects of stock management, including raw materials, live goods, packaging and dry goods. You will be responsible for inbound planning, physical storage, allocation to production and system management. Your role will also involve reporting on site waste and ensuring all prepared packaging meets customer specifications.Key Responsibilities:*Lead and manage a team, ensuring 24/7 coverage.*Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including retail and non-retail customers, growers, and suppliers.*Oversee departmental performance with key metrics controlling efficiency, productivity, and costs.*Drive 'best in class' product quality, minimise waste and ensure compliance with customer specifications.*Manage administrative duties including stock counts and performance summaries*Foster employee development through structured reviews and development plans.*Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance within the department.About you:*Proven experience in a similar inventory management role.*Strong organisational and influencing skills.*Confident communicator and presenter with a creative, customer-focused approach.*Ability to adapt and drive continuous improvement initiatives.If you believe you have the skills and personality to fit these requirements please get in touch with Chris Beal on or By applying to this advertised job, you consent for Henderson Brown Recruitment Ltd to hold your information.
