Ready to take on a new challenge? We are now recruiting for a Plant Engineer. Salary up to £50k DOE and qualifications held + / OTE + overtime + certified training. In this role you will be working on cranes - crawler/tower and various hoists including passenger goods. This is a permanent full time opportunity where your role will be to carry out preventative maintenance visits at various client sites.

As the Plant Engineer you will be:

  • Attending on-site calls as well as work in the workshop in order to inspect, service and repair a variety of heavy construction plant and crane equipment to a high standard.
  • Carrying out any fault finding or diagnosing as the trainee crane engineer.
  • Ensure all administration and paperwork is up to date and completed on time.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Speak to customers and provide technical support to reduce the amount of breakdown call outs.

To be successful as the Plant Engineer:

  • You will ideally hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or engineering although not essential.
  • Be able to work on your own initiative.
  • Strong proven knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment
  • Full UK Driving license.

You will have previous experience as a mobile plant engineer, mobile plant fitter, plant mechanic, plant technician, workshop plant engineer, workshop plant fitter, workshop crane engineer, crane engineer or Plant Engineer.
