The Role:
- Translate contract and design inputs into clear production schedules.
- Bridge the gap between design and production teams
- Use structured procedures and planning tools to assess resource availability and set delivery targets.
- Monitor capacity across machines and teams, raising potential issues before they impact progress.
- Keep the MRP system updated with accurate job and schedule data.
- Work side-by-side with operations, engineering, and purchasing to keep workflows aligned and efficient.
- Ensure schedule changes, tooling updates, or material delays are communicated clearly and promptly.
What You'll Need:
- Experience in a manufacturing, planning or logistics environment.
- A clear, logical approach to workload management and planning.
- Confidence working with MRP systems and tools like Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in a technical or engineering environment is a bonus - but not essential.
