What You Will Do:
- Develop parts from initial concept through to mass manufacture, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Solve problems for build and test failures, both digital and physical.
- Manage supplier and in-house parts efficiently.
- Collaborate with the styling team to provide feedback during the digital development phase.
- Regularly visit the manufacturing site in the north of the UK and conduct supplier visits across Europe.
- Occasionally travel to Japan depending on project requirements, schedule, and capability.
What You Will Bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Product/Industrial Design, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CAD Software, for example, Siemens NX.
- You need to have some work experience in a professional engineering design role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
- A willingness to travel regularly, including potential international trips.
