Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Conceptualise, develop, and deliver innovative design solutions for high-speed, large-format converting machinery.

  • Technical Analysis: Perform structural and dynamic analysis to optimise machine performance and ensure reliability.

  • Manufacturing Support: Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, collaborating with production, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

  • Project Leadership: Lead and support projects, from customer-driven designs to R&D innovations, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets.

  • Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Service, and Production to support ongoing business needs.

What Youll Need:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Strong experience in the design of special-purpose machinery, rotating equipment, or large-scale mechanical systems.

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD design software, any is fine!.

  • A solid understanding of engineering principles, with experience in electrical and hydraulic system integration being a plus.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.
