SMT Technician

SMT Technician to carry out manufacturing process steps for the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and assemble products to agreed quality levels to meet customer expectationsSMT Technician - Main Responsibilities:  

  • Set up and run SMT lines to specified efficiency and process quality levels
  • Ensure the product meets IPC 610 to the specified class
  • Input and preparation of process control documentation including first-off inspection
  • Work closely with the Engineering team and other technicians to support fault-finding and innovative solutions
  • Ensure you are familiar with the department’s output production targets
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and update databases to meet the requirements of the quality management system
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
  • Maintain the highest level of workmanship and product standards, and ensure no scrap is created with minimal re-work outside of the design
