We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Fitter based in Bedford to join our client's on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Electrical Fitter role
Salary: £32,529 per annum
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm, Fridays 7:00am - 2:30pm
Responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter
- Assemble and fit components as per Bills of Materials, drawings and specifications.
- Build development and continuous improvement feedback.
- Ensure assembly documentation is completed.
- Conduct calibration, service and repair works.
- Conduct component-level fault finding.
- Maintain KPI to measure performance and demonstrate.
Requirements for a successful Electrical Fitter
- NVQ City and Guilds in Electrical Engineering/Assembly
- Previous experience within an electrical assembly/workshop fitter role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Accurate with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
