Direct Pay Mechanism
£23 - £25 per hour
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our community and rapid response teams. This role involves providing high-quality assessment and rehabilitation to patients in their homes across all 6 PCNs.

Our client provides healthcare services across Surrey area. It operates two major hospitals offering a range of acute and specialist services. The Trust focuses on delivering high-quality care, improving patient outcomes, and supporting the local community through comprehensive healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients requiring rehabilitation in their homes.
- Provide rapid response for patient admission and urgent needs.
- Perform moving and handling risk assessments and prescribe necessary equipment.
- Liaise effectively with social services, continuing health care teams, equipment providers, and the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Adapt flexibly to rapid response requests and varying patient needs.
- Deliver care and support across three main locations.
Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to cover all sites in (Epsom, ICP Bourne Hall Health Centre, Molesy, Banstead, Leatherhead, East Elmbridge, Dorking).
- Car driver with access to a vehicle is essential.
- Strong competency in moving and handling practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
