The Client:

A leading well-established service provider based in Bedford that have an excellent reputation within their sector, offering a fantastic working environment and stability.

The Role:

This is an incredibly rare and varied role, you will have operational responsibility for their two offices, whilst managing a small team of accounts administrators. The job title for the role is Practice Manager.

The hours for this role offer great flexibility and can be from 30 - 37.5 hours week, Monday - Friday.

More Detail:

As well as overseeing a small team of accounts administrators you will have responsibility for the smooth running of two offices from an operational point of view including: facilities, HR, IT and Insurance - you will also be signing off payroll and VAT. On a monthly basis you will create a P&L report for the business and the relevant departments.

The accounts part of the role is much smaller and for the right candidate this function could be outsourced to their accountants.

  • Facilities management and operational support dealing with Health & Safety, insurance and general administration for the business.
  • HR and IT related queries whilst dealing with an HR/ IT outsourcer as needed.
  • Maintenance and improvement of the business management and CRM system.
  • Client facing, dealing with service and account relationship management.
  • Responsibility for data, complaints and communication systems and processes.

The Person:

  • Flexible and natural pro-active problem solver that loves variety and really making a difference.
  • Ideally you will have a good understanding of accounts and the ability to use data to create reports.
  • Outgoing people person and team player.
  • Experience of the operational side of business, having touched on IT, HR, Administration, CRM systems, Insurance and policies.
  • Experienced of working in a similar Practice Manager or Office Manager position.

Our client is offering a basic salary of £37,000 - £42,000 depending on experience plus an individual performance bonus of up to £2,000 AND profit share which is typically £1000 - £4000 per year.

This role is available Monday - Friday working between 30 - 37.5 hours per week.
