Complex SEND Teacher - SEN School - Bedford - ASAP Start - Paid to scale from day 1

Are you an experienced SEND Teacher looking for a new role in Bedford? Do you have a genuine passion for making a difference to the lives of children with complex mental and physical needs?

Tradewind are currently working with a well-established SEND Provision in the heart of Bedford who are looking to recruit an inspirational SEND Teacher on a full-time basis. This is a full-time position from Monday-Friday during term time only. The school are open to hearing from qualified or unqualified teachers with experience working with complex needs. For the strongest teachers, this can lead to full-time employment with the school.

Our partner school are looking for teachers who can make a genuine impact to the lives of their students on a daily basis. You will be joining a large staff team who work together to provide the best possible learning environment for their learners. This is a challenging but rewarding role where you can have a real impact from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with children with complex SEND needs
  • Observe and report on the childrens progress
  • Work closely with the SENDCO and outside agencies
  • Build strong relationships with parents
  • Personal care may be required in some instances

About you

  • Passionate about working with children with SEN
  • Previous experience, either personally or professionally, with children with complex SEND
  • Able to commute to or local to Bedford
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Available full-time - 8:30-3:30 minimum
