We are seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher specialising in French and Spanish for a secondary school in St Neots. This is a temporary cover position until Easter 2025. The role involves full-time work, planning, and marking responsibilities, ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality language education.
Day-to-day of the role:- Teach French and Spanish to secondary school students.
- Prepare engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
- Carry out marking and feedback to students to facilitate progress.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Assess and record students’ progress and prepare them for examinations.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and experiences for students.
- Proficiency in French and Spanish.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages is highly desirable.
- Experience in teaching French and Spanish at secondary level.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
